The mid-bite technology of the YES Standard provides close to excellent grip but also provides quicker turn initiation than you would think for this width over the bindings. The base of the Jones Mountain Twin is super fast for this price point. (We dont put in the exact weight because with wood cores there is no consistency in a boards weight). Its not as good as those long freeride super carvers but its about as good as a twin can get. It's built to shred the whole mountain like it's an endless skatepark without sacrificing float in pow or stability for bombing lines. Its also pretty strong if you want to center it up for switch powder riding so its a pretty versatile powder ride. Wed say this is closer to the average side of good. Its now just for size 10+ riders in the bigger sizes that prefer a narrower stance. Its like there is a long extension of the edge at the middle of the board and the rest is almost un-noticable. It seems like one of those boards thats better than camber for sure but more for the rider that knows how to plane well, keep their speed and really own a powder day even with a camber board.
